Please pay attention that I'll be using CS:GO cracked game

(Not recommended please, as it may make your game a mess. But if you ensure that the updater will do its job well, you aren't scared of redownloading the whole game if it goes wrong or you're using a cracked version, then you might try).

Before doing this, if it would be alright for you, please go to Sound > Music > valve_csgo_01 and valve_csgo_02, check if both contains only game_sounds_music.txt. If it is true, then it's a go to do this. If you see any other files, please excuse me that I bother you, but you can do it from step 7

Download GCFScape (could be reach through here please: http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/?p=26 )

Downloading Archive is recommended as I downloaded through that. Extract the files, after extracting please use the x64 or x86 depending on your window.

Open the GCFScape.exe, File > Open > CS:GO > .... > pak01_dir.vpk (depends on where the CS:GO and the pak01_dir.vpk is located. The route in the video below is my backup, please excuse me, but it's not to follow.)

After opening it, you will see there're folders: materials, models, particles, .... Try to search where those folders are located in your CS:GO directory folder. Remember the path to Parent folder containing the folders (please try searching the "sound" folder, it is most efficient)

Choose all and extract the files you see in GCFScape into the Parent folder in CS:GO containing the same folders.

After the extraction is completed, check Sound > Music > valve_csgo_01 and valve_csgo_02. There should be some mp3 files there.

Make a copy (backup) of mainmenu.mp3, you can choose the mainmenu.mp3 in valve_csgo_01 or valve_csgo_02. (in case you like hearing the classic theme song again, recommend choosing the one from valve_csgo_01)

Choose a song, a soundtrack you like, renaming it into mainmenu.mp3

Double check that the backup mainmenu.mp3 sounds right and also the customized mainmenu.mp3. Then copy-paste the renamed soundtrack into valve_csgo_01 and valve_csgo_02

Go into your game, open the Console (please pardon me for bothering, if you don't know, it can be reached by typing ~ ), type in snd_updateaudiocache then press Enter and wait for a little bit please.

If you can't hear your new music playing, then if it would be alright, restart the game please. You should be hearing it.

(Not recommended, unless you really want to) If you still can't hear it, cut all pak01_... .vpk files and paste it into another folder, remember to rename the folder into something you can recognize easily they're directory files of CS:GO please and when there's an update of the game, put those files back into the old place, update the game, then do it all again the steps please.
